Radikaa Sarathkumar tests positive for COVID-19? Actress shares important health update
On Thursday, there were numerous reports making the rounds that actress Radikaa Sarathkumar has tested positive for COVID-19. Now, clarifying about her health, Radikaa took to Twitter handle and revealed she has not been diagnosed with the deadly virus. She also thanked her fans and well-wishers for their love and affection and revealed that she just had body ache after taking the second dose of the vaccine. "Thanks everyone for the love and affection, I am not down with corona virus, just body ache after second vaccine. On line press are just filing rubbish about health and case. We will fight it in higher courts. I am back at work, have a good day(Sic)." she tweeted. For the unware, a month ago Radikaa's husband Sarathkumar had tested positive for the virus. Of late, the actress and her husband grabbed the news for all the wrong reasons. Radikaa and her husband Sarathkumar have been sentenced to one-year imprisonment by a special court on Wednesday in connection with cheque bounce cases in 2017. The decision was taken by a special court that inquires cases about MPs and MLAs. An Indian Express report had it that Sarathkumar and Radikaa were partners at a production named Magic Frames and had reportedly taken a loan from Radiance Media Private Limited. The actor had issued undated cheques to keep as a mortgage but they bounced in 2017. Reportedly, the couple has moved to another special court to suspend the court’s order.Another report by India Glitz further reports that in 2015, Sarathkumar and Radikaa took a loan to produce the film Idhu Enna Maayam, which starred Vikram Prabhu and Keerthy Suresh in the lead. The film was directed by A.L. Vijay. The couple allegedly did not repay the loans they had taken and after check bounces, lending firm Radiance Media Private Limited had approached the court in 2018.On the work front, actress Radikaa has a couple of films Oh Andha Naatkal, Dhruva Natchathiram and Jail in her pipeline. Other hand, Sarathkumar is currently busy playing the role Sundara Chola in the upcoming flick Ponniyin Selvan directed by Mani Ratnam.
