Indian Railways to run more Shatabdi, Duronto special trains from tomorrow. Here are the routes
New Delhi: Indian Railways has announced that four Shatabdi Express trains and one Duronto Express special train will be operated from tomorrow for the convenience of passengers. These new trains will start operating between April 10, 2021 to April 15, 2021, Railway Ministry said. The New Delhi – Daurai Shatabdi Express special train (no-4051/52) will also run on a daily basis and the Chandigarh – New Delhi Shatabdi Express special train (No 02046/45) will operate six days a week except for Wednesday, the Railway Ministry said.Meanwhile, the Sarai Rohilla, Delhi – Jammu Tawi Duronto Express special train (No 02265/66) will run three days a week.Ministry of Railways also said that all norms of the state and central government regarding Covid-19 including social distancing, sanitization etc, must be followed in the trains and at the railway stations. "All other precautions associated with Covid-19 should also be ensured," the ministry said.
