[EXCLUSIVE] Ravi Dubey reveals how he and wife Sargun reacted when Nia Sharma called him the 'best kisser'
Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma are all set to take the webspace by storm again with the second season of Jamai 2.0. Their hit TV show Jamai Raja, which had a successful run of 7 years on the small screen, was converted into a web version. And now, after the stupendous success of Jamai 2.0, the duo is back with the second season, which will premiere on February 26, 2021. Ever since the trailer and posters of the show have been unveiled, people have been just talking about Ravi and Nia's chemistry. The two have shared a couple of intimate scenes in the show. And opening up about their underwater kissing scene, Nia recently called Ravi the best kisser at an award function. Needless to say, when Times Now Digital had an exclusive interview with Ravi recently, we asked him about his reaction to the same. And pat came his answer, "My jaw dropped (laughs). You know what I am extremely fond of that girl and Nia knows it. Rather I and Sargun both are fond of Nia." The actor further shared how he and his wife Sargun Mehta reacted when they saw Nia's viral video."When we saw the video, me and Sargun, we really laughed because we know Nia na, hum dono usko acchi tareeke se jaante hain. And what else can I say ya? Unse jo kaha aur humesha jo kehti hai vo sarankho pe hain. I am going to take it as a compliment (laughs). Like I said, anything she says, it is Nia being Nia and that makes me even more fond of her. So, there's no bad blood, nothing negative there," he revealed. Moving on, Ravi also spoke about doing intimate and kissing scenes with Nia for their web show. "Inhibitions were a thing during the first season, not anymore. And I have to give credit for that to Nia. I have said this previously also but it is the lady in question and it is entirely up to her to make things comfortable and not awkward. And Nia is just the person around whom you cannot be awkward no matter how sensitive or intimate a moment may be. So, I am a thorough professional who recognizes that a certain thing is a part of the script and contributes to the integrity of the script. And I also understand it now. In the second season, it was much more effortless and (I give) credit, gratitude to Nia for that," he said while signing off.
