A cache of weapons was found during a joint search operation of BSF and Jammu and Kashmir Police in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. In this search operation, one AK-47 gun, three Chinese grenades, AK-47 were found in the hands of security forces in the Dardasan area of Kupwara. In addition, seven hundred ninety bullets, three wireless sets, one compass, one silencer and eight detonators have been recovered.According to sources, the police carried out this search operation in association with the 172nd Battalion of BSF based on factual information. It was reported that the activities of terrorists had been observed in the Dardasan area, and it is feared that weapons have been hidden in the site so that when the time comes, they can be used to create bloodshed in Kashmir. Based on this information, when the search operation was started, it was successful in the hands of the security forces. Eight to ten terrorists have been killed by the security forces in a few days, while more than a thousand of their aides are currently in police custody.
