Amit Shah assures assistance for deaths as well as for injured people in boiler explosion at the Neyveli thermal plant in Tamil Nadu,
At a boiler in the Neyveli lignite plant in Tamil Nadu a major explosion has been confirmed. At least six people died and seventeen others are wounded in the boiler explosion at Tamil Nadu. After the explosion many were rushed to the NLC hospital. The blast took place at a Cuddalore boiler run by Neyveli Lignite Corporation. NLC has its own fire-fighting teams which rushed to rescue after the blast. Rescue teams from the administration of the Cuddalore district have also reached the spot to assess the situation. The cause of the blast also remains to be determined. M. Sree Abhinav, Cuddalore Superintendent of Police confirmed that the death toll has gone up to 6 while 17 other have been injured in the explosion at a boiler of Neyveli lignite plant.
