Abhishek reacts after netizen calls his acting in The Big Bull '3rd rate', says Scam 1992 was 'far superior'
It's no news that Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has a swift way with words. The actor, who is an ardent social media user, often gives it back to trolls, but in the kindest ways possible. For instance, if he receives criticism, he will respond to it with humility. Something similar happened on Thursday night when a social media user took to Twitter to bash Abhishek and his performance in his recently released film, The Big Bull. The said social media user called Abhishek's acting "third rate" and also said that the scripting was poor. "As usual @juniorbachchan doesn't disappoint you with his 3rd rate so called acting in a poorly scripted & badly filmed #TheBigBull @pratikg80 & #Scam1992 are far superior by miles. @ajaydevgn @DisneyplusHSVIP," read his tweet. Reacting to this, a calm Abhishek replied with a witty tweet. "Hey man, as long as I’ve not disappointed you, I’m happy. Thank you for taking the time out to see our film," said the actor. This wasn't it. While Abhishek responded to the tweet and moved on to thank others who had shared their takes on the film, the said social media user again lashed out at the actor. In another tweet, the social media user wrote "I am surprised to see people think this tweet by @juniorbachchan as cool, humble reply to a troll, but pl read it, this is bullying & trolling. This man cann't even take criticism by a viewer. Accept the reality Mr. Junior & other trolls. Have a good day.(sic)" Abhishek, however, hasn't yet responded to the second tweet. Here, check out Abhishek Bachchan's social media exchange:As for The Big Bull, the film released on Disney+Hotstar on April 8. Directed by Kookie Gulati, the film also stars Ileana D'Cruz, Nikita Dutta, Sohum Shah, Ram Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and Samir Soni among others. While many netizens have pointed out the similarities between the film and the popular web series Scam 1992, Abhishek's performance as Hemant Shah has won him rave reviews. The actor's earnest dialogue delivery and impressive body language have certainly helped the film earn positive reviews. On the personal front, Abhishek took to social media earlier today to wish his mom and veteran actress Jaya Bachchan on her birthday. Sharing an unseen photograph of his mother, Abhishek penned a sweet message for his mom.
