Withdrawing proclamation disdain of still, small voice: Prashant Bhushan will not apologize to SC
Senior backer Prashant Bhushan on Monday documented a strengthening articulation declining to apologize in a hatred body of evidence against him in Supreme Court
He stated, "My tweets spoke to this bonafide conviction that I keep on holding. Open articulation of these convictions was I accept, in accordance with my higher commitments as a resident and a devoted official of this court. In this way, a statement of regret for articulation of these convictions, contingent or unlimited, would be questionable. A statement of regret can't be a unimportant chant and any conciliatory sentiment needs to, as the court has itself put it, be genuinely made.
"This is particularly so when I have offered the expressions bonafide and argued facts with full subtleties, which have not been managed by the Court. In the event that I withdraw an announcement under the watchful eye of this court I in any case accept to be valid or offer a dishonest expression of remorse, that in my eyes would add up to the hatred of my still, small voice and of a foundation that I hold in most elevated regard.
Prashant Bhushan was indicted by the Supreme Court for criminal hatred of court over his tweets against the legal executive and CJI SA Bobde.
