Where is Chris Gayle? KL Rahul clarifies why Universe Boss is out of Kings XI Punjab's playing XI
Chris Gayle's nonattendance from Kings XI Punjab's playing XI has caused a stir. Generally expected to open the innings with KL Rahul, Gayle has been sidelined for two matches now and it would appear that he may warm the seat all through the season. Michael Slater, who facilitated the throw function on Thursday, couldn't avoid and asked KL Rahul the explanation for Gayle's nonappearance.
The recently selected KXIP chief didn't give an immediate answer and recently said that he (Gayle) will play "at the opportune time." Rahul's announcement implies that the establishment doesn't have any designs for him and that the Universe Boss is probably not going to get a game.
