Amild quake estimating 3.5 on the Richter Scale hit Mumbai on Monday at around 8 am. The quake quakes were felt 102 km north of Mumbai, as indicated by the National Center for Seismology (NCS). There was no report of death toll or wounds because of the quake that hit Mumbai city on Monday morning.
"Quake of Magnitude:3.5, Occurred on 07-09-2020, 08:07:19 IST, Lat: 19.99 and Long: 72.80, Depth: 5 Km ,Location: 102km N of Mumbai, Maharashtra," the NCS said.
On Saturday, four low-force quakes were knowledgeable about Palghar region of Maharashtra. The quakes were recorded from Friday night till the early long periods of Saturday, an authority said.
The primary tremor of 4.0 extent was felt in Dahanu tehsil at 11.41 pm, while the second one of 3.6 greatness was recorded at 12.05 am in Talasari tehsil and the keep going one estimating 2.7 on Richter scale was record at 6.36 am, head of Palghar region calamity control cell Vivekanand Kadam said.
