The burial service parade of previous Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi started in Guwahati on Thursday morning. His last customs will be performed at Navagraha crematorium in Guwahati.
The human remaining parts of Tarun Gogoi, one of Assam's tallest political pioneers, were taken to his official habitation from Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra. After the customs, the last remaining parts were taken to a congregation situated at Rukminigaon territory in the city.
Afterward, the remaining parts will be taken to the Namghar at Zoo Road, at that point to Sukreswar sanctuary at Panbazar and afterward to Ugratara sanctuary close to Latasil before incineration.

In a notice gave by the General Administration Department of the state government on Wednesday said that - "The state government has announced a half-occasion from 1 pm upon the arrival of incineration tomorrow. During this period, all state government workplaces, public area endeavors, organizations, sheets and instructive establishments will stay shut."
Tarun Gogoi, the longest-serving boss pastor of Assam, inhaled his last at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on November 23 after a delayed ailment.
