Fourteen travelers who made a trip from Delhi to Hong Kong on an Air India trip on August 14 have tried positive for COVID-19 till Thursday, the Hong Kong government said.
Because of this occurrence, Air India's traveler flights have been banned from arriving in Hong Kong till August-end, it included Friday.

In an announcement to PTI on Friday, a representative of the Department of Health of the Hong Kong government stated, "A flight worked via Air India (AI314) showing up Hong Kong from India on August 14 had 11 travelers affirmed to have contaminated with COVID-19."
Thus, the office conjured the "Avoidance and Control of Disease (Regulation of Cross-limit Conveyances and Travelers) Regulation (Cap. 599H) on August 17 to restrict arriving of traveler flights worked via Air India for about fourteen days from August 18 to 31 in Hong Kong", the representative noted.
"As of August 20, an aggregate of 14 travelers on that flight were affirmed to have tainted with COVID-19," he included.
The announcement didn't intricate if these 14 travelers had COVID-negative declarations with them from the tests completed 72 hours preceding their excursion, as required by the previously mentioned rules.
Other than India, a pre-flight COVID-19 negative test outcome authentication is obligatory for all travelers originating from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Africa and the US, as indicated by the Hong Kong government's standards.
