Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Delhi Government will forward a proposal to the Centre, based on more than 5 Lakh suggestions by Delhi' s people, on the lock-out strategy in the National Capital. There are many recommendations from starting up the Delhi Metro to shutting down schools and colleges.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said at his media briefing on Thursday, "The Lieutenant Governor 's Meeting of the SDMA will take place today at 4 p.m. You will all discuss your suggestions at the meeting. The extent to which relaxation in Delhi can be provided will send these suggestions to the central government.
As the chief minister pursued the public's views about the lockdown, Arvind Kejriwal says : “ that he has received over 5 lakh proposals to this day for the suggestion to be forwarded to the Center.
Kejriwal also said that the people asked to reopen Delhi Metro services partially and also bus services, among other proposals.
"We've asked people for a proposal, more than five lakh suggestions have been received. We will submit a proposal to the Centre on the basis of these suggestions. Most suggested that schools and schools should be closed till summer holidays, "said Kejriwal.
This was also proposed that the government would open restaurants that can begin taking services and home delivery while hotels will stay closed throughout the lock-down.
