Delhi Metro returns all courses, prepares now running on pre-Covid timings
Delhi Metro continued administrations on all courses with the resuming of Airport Express Line on Saturday after a break of more than 170 days due to the Covid pandemic. All passageways of Delhi Metro network are currently running with the first timings being followed from the pre-pandemic timetable of 6 am to 11 pm.
"With the resumption of administration on the Airport Express Line, all lines of the Delhi Metro network are presently open! Make sure to follow the rules when voyaging. #MetroBackOnTrack," the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) tweeted.
This comes days after Delhi Metro restarted tasks with the Yellow Line in the wake of being closed for more than 5 months. The Metro administrations were closed on March 22 to contain the spread of the novel Covid.
The Ministry of Home Affairs had as of late gave rules permitting the Delhi Metro to continue activities in an evaluated way, following which the DMRC had said it would be done in three phases from September 7-12.
Under stage one, Yellow Line or Line 2 and Rapid Metro were made operational with limited help hours. Stage two kicked in from Friday with broadened administration hours, and stage three became effective from Saturday onwards with Metro administrations returning to pre-COVID-19 time timetable of 6 am to 11 pm.
