The CBI has enlisted two FIRs against previous Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board executive Wasim Rizvi regarding claimed illicit deal buy and move of Waqf properties in Uttar Pradesh.
This trails the state government had requested a CBI test in October a year ago into supposed abnormalities in deal buy and move of Waqf properties by Shia Central Waqf Board and Sunni Central Waqf Board.
This advancement comes after the Central government gave its gesture to the CBI to continue with the case. The CBI enrolled the case on Thursday based on the FIRs held up at Hazratganj police headquarters (Lucknow) on March 27, 2017, and another in Prayagraj enlisted in August 8, 2016.
Uttar Pradesh Mino.rity Minister Mohsin Raza said that Yogi Adiyanath's administration had gotten a ton of protests with respect to inconsistencies in the deal and acquisition of properties in the Waqf Board.
He said the Uttar Pradesh government will ensure that the "offenders" will wind up in prison. "The SP and BSP government in the past didn't tune in to the requests of senior strict pioneers and social laborers, which has prompted this immense loss of government reserves," he added
