Assam columnist leaves on 1000-km bike ride to spread mindfulness about security of recorders
Ajournalist situated in Assam has taken up the activity to spread mindfulness among individuals about the wellbeing and security of columnists, in the wake of such issues being looked by individuals working in the media.
Snehankar Chakraborty, a writer in Assam's Biswanath region has set out on a bike ride intending to cover a separation of1000 km over the state for spreading mindfulness about the social wellbeing and security of columnists.
Snehankar began his bike venture from Biswanath Chariali and will cover Dhola Sadiya, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, and Jorhat areas.
His drive picks up essentialness when Parag Bhuyan a TV writer in Assam's Tinsukia area, as of late passed on in a secretive mishap.
Days after Parag Bhuyan was run over close to his home, another writer from Assam's Kamrup locale was purportedly attached to an electric shaft and assaulted by thugs at the Mirza region.
42 year-old Milan Mahanta, a writer with the Asomiya Pratidin was assaulted purportedly for covering betting exercises in the Mirza region of Kamrup region.
Snehankar Chakraborty said before he had finished a 300-km bike ride from Guwahati to Biswanath Chariali to bring issues to light on a similar issue.
"This time, I am taking a 1000-km ride from Biswanath to Sadiya for social wellbeing and security of columnists. I was functioning as a writer and as of now I am outsourcing. I will consistently remain with writers," Snehankar Chakraborty said.
