On Wednesday, Mukesh Kumar, a metropolitan official of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC), declared that AMC needs to pay 20% less on the demand for a Covid bed. The new rates are an update of the rates pronounced on December 15.
The new rates will lessen the monetary weight on the AMC and help to oblige more beds. As the subsequent wave has hit the city, the instances of Coivid-19 have gone up quickly, making it the most influenced city in the state.
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation had neglected bills adding up to Rs 260 crore and an extra Rs 39 crore for clinical hardware just a month prior. Mukesh Kumar, a civil official of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC), requested an order for 240 beds at Shushila Mansukhlal Shah (SMS) clinic and 160 beds at the Gujarat Cancer Society Medical College.
At present, there is an aggregate of 2589 dynamic cases in Ahmedabad. half of the private medical clinic's beds are now held for patients alluded to by AMC. The patients need to pay from about Rs 4,500 to 11,000 for these beds though, the other private patients need to pay Rs 11,000 to 25,000 every day for Coronavirus treatment.
