After NCP Chief Sharad Pawar reprimanded grandnephew Parth, Rohit Pawar says 'it is a family matter'
Two days after NCP Chief Sharad Pawar rebuffed his grandnephew Parth Pawar for looking for a CBI test into entertainer Sushant Singh Rajput's demise, Parth's cousin Rohit on Friday named the scene as a "family matter".
While Parth is the child of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Rohit, MLA from Karjat-Jamkhed, is a child of Rajendra Pawar, another nephew of the NCP President.
"It is a family matter. Saheb (Sharad Pawar) has offered remarks on it, it is a family matter," Rohit Pawar told journalists in Ahmednagar, declining to state much else.
Sharad Pawar had said on Wednesday that he gave no significance to Parth's interest for a CBI test.
Rohit, nonetheless, talked about "politicization" of Rajput's supposed self-destruction against the background of coming races in Bihar, the entertainer's home state.
"Today, news came that a Maharashtra BJP pioneer will administer the BJP's political race arrangements in Bihar," he stated, obviously alluding to Devendra Fadnavis.
"The BJP had been raising the issue (Rajput's passing). The issue was being politicized from the earliest starting point and now there is lucidity (regarding why it was politicized)," the NCP MLA said.
