4 BJP pioneers from West Bengal's Kharagpur join TMC
Four BJP pioneers from West Bengal's Kharagpur, alongside several their allies, joined the Trinamool Congress on Wednesday, giving the decision party in the express a fillip in the modern area in front of the gathering races due in April-May one year from now.
BJP pioneers Sailendra Singh, Ajoy Chatterjee, Rajdip Guha and Sajal Roy joined the TMC within the sight of Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Chandrima Bhattacharya, at the gathering's base camp here.
Singh was a powerful pioneer in the saffron gathering's worker's guild wing Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, while Guha has a mass following in a few wards of Kharagpur town. Roy is a famous pioneer in the rustic regions and Chatterjee was with the BJP for quite a while, Bhattacharya, likewise a senior TMC pioneer, said.
"This is a major hit to the BJP and its state boss Dilip Ghosh in Paschim Medinipur area and Kharagpur specifically. The TMC had won the Kharagpur Sadar gathering electorate without precedent for the by-political decision a year ago. The seat was cleared by Ghosh, who was chosen as the Medinipur MP in the Lok Sabha decisions.
"The four BJP pioneers had gotten disappointed with the working of the saffron party. They needed to join our pioneer Mamata Banerjee to work for the majority at the grassroots," Bhattacharya said.
The senior TMC pioneer said 500 allies of Singh have additionally joined the decision party in the state however just around 100 of them were available at the scene with the goal that the COVID-19 wellbeing conventions were kept up.
