In a significant improvement in the Sandalwood drug case being explored by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru, two police officers, including an Assistant Commissioner of Police of CCB, have been suspended.
This after they were purportedly helping the blamed by spilling data. The claims are that they struck an enormous money related arrangement to spill data.
The suspended cops sanctuary been recognized as MR Mudavi, ACP, Women Protection Wing of CCB and Head Constable Mallikarjun.
Sources disclosed to India Today TV that their examination was being hampered because of data being spilled to partners of the blamed.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Patil led an inside enquiry and built up that the two police officers were helping the blamed by spilling data identified with the test.
Sandeep Patil has stated, "ACP Mudavi has been put under suspension. During request, it was discovered that he was in contact with certain partners of the denounced and was giving and spilling data of examination being done in the medications case. Furthermore, he isn't important for the center group examining the case. One HC Mallikarjun was likewise suspended."
